Whey Fractioning – Ultra, Nano Filtrations & Reverse Osmosis

Successful and challenging project of Ultrafiltration, Nanofiltration and Reverse Osmosis systems for the whey fractioning with capacity of 35 tons whey per hour.  We organised the team for the project execution itime constraint situation. Inventive design of systems allowed us to run parallelly some design and manufacturing phases in production facility in Slovenia. 

As a result, the UF-NF-RO unit was ready in 4 months Neat compact systems put into the two frames designed for automated sweet whey fractioning with the resulting streams of:  

  • WPC 37 after UF
  • 20 % TS retentate from UF permeate after NF 
  • Water by RO
